  • Yes, kids can join! Children of close family & friends will be specifically listed in the mail-in invitation. Parents are free to decide if you want them there, or you may opt for a kid-free date night. If your child is not named in the invitation but you prefer to bring them, please email us with the details for our consideration. Our email is: smithwedding90@gmail.com.

    PLEASE READ: If you do bring your kids, you (the parent/guardian) MUST directly supervise them at ALL TIMES. This is a non-negotiable policy by the venue. Please note the following potential hazards: water features, lit candles, burning firepits, dense woods surrounding the property. Per the venue, you may be financially responsible if damages incur.

    Entertainment: Many in our circle have little ones, so there should be other kids there to play and make friends with. There is a playground for 8y and under. The venue is pretty spacious with lots to explore. We plan to offer a small selection of kid-friendly activities.

    Amenities: There is a baby changing station in the women’s restroom. Any breastfeeding moms should email us and we can arrange for you to pump in the quiet and private bridal suite. For younger kids, there will be cups with lids and straws.

    Disclaimer: Be aware this is an adult event; there will be alcohol and music will not always be censored.

    At this time the bride & groom are not planning to stay at a hotel.

  • The dress code is formal.

    Example attire: Men can wear a classic suit, dress shirt (tie optional), oxford dress shoes. Women can wear a floor length gown, below-knee cocktail dress, pantsuit, or dressy separates (two-piece).

    Please avoid shorts, denim jeans, t-shirts or graphic tees, baseball hats, and relaxed open-toed shoes such as flip flops or casual sandals.

    Your presence is the most meaningful thing to us. Dress code aside, wear something that feels right to you and comfortable on your body. If you have the means to do so, we ask for our guests to wear solid colors (in other words, minimal print or patterns). If you want more guidance or enjoy matching a theme, the encouraged color palette is either all black or dusty/pastel colors. The vibe is elegant, tasteful, classy, timeless.

    Per tradition, no white/cream/ivory worn by guests.

    Consider bringing layers as we transition into autumn.

    3) Come back to this site (rebecca-blair.com); at this point the RSVP function will be visible to you. Submit your digital RSVP along with any guest or dietary information requested on the form. That’s it!

    If we haven’t received your response, we will send out a reminder before the deadline. If we don’t receive a reply after the deadline, you will be marked as ‘Not Attending’.

    We will have an open bar with hand-crafted cocktails, wine, and standard liquors. We will also have self-serve coolers with beer, seltzer, soda (including diet/zero), and water.

    Your vehicle is allowed to remain parked until 9:00 AM the next day.

  • Both. The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting). After that, guests can freely wander in & out - whichever you choose, there is a variety of spaces to hang out.
